Each client’s journey in therapy is unique, shaped by individual experiences and needs. While clients typically start with weekly sessions, the frequency, duration, and focus of therapy varies based on your specific goals. Some may benefit from short-term, focused work, while others may prefer a longer, more in-depth framework. For therapy to be most effective, it’s important to be an active participant, both during our sessions and in between. Those who seek therapy are often ready to take responsibility for their behaviors, work toward personal growth, and cultivate a deeper awareness in their lives. Utilizing a client-centered approach, therapy is personalized to your needs, with no set timeline. We will regularly check in and adjust the process to support your ongoing growth and evolving needs. Your goals and concerns will shape the direction of our work together, ensuring you receive the personalized support you're seeking.

Anything can be discussed during your therapy session. This is your time to be as open as you'd like and to voice any thoughts or concerns, ask questions, and share whatever is on your mind. As your therapist, I’m here to offer support, guidance, and effective tools to help you navigate challenges and work toward your personal goals through thoughtful conversation.

Yes! I take your privacy very seriously and ensure your security through a HIPAA-compliant online platform. In general, the law protects the confidentiality of all communications between you and your therapist. No information is shared without your prior written consent. However, there are a few legal limitations to confidentiality, which include:
If there is suspected child abuse or abuse of a dependent adult or elder, I am required to report this to the appropriate authorities.
If a client is threatening serious harm to someone else, I must notify the authorities.
If a client intends to harm themselves, I will work with them in hopes of seeking safety and engaging in harm reduction. If cooperation is not possible, further steps may be necessary to protect them.
